Frequently asked questions.

  • For remote sessions, please find a quiet, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed for the duration of your appointment. Your animal (living or deceased) does not need to be present with you.

    You are welcome to take notes or record the session for your personal use. A Zoom link will be provided prior to your appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been made.

    Please do not send any information about your animal(s) before the session, and be ready to begin promptly at your scheduled time.

    For in-person sessions or Healed by a Horse® experiences, you will receive an email in advance with specific details on how to prepare, what to bring, and what to expect.

  • Animal Communication
    I do not need any information about you or your animal prior to our session. This allows the communication to unfold naturally and without influence.

    Energy Healing / Heart Frequency Healing™
    For remote energy healing sessions, I will reach out if there is any information I need from you ahead of time. Otherwise, no preparation is required.

    Past Life Sessions
    I will contact you prior to your session with details on how to prepare. No information is needed from you in advance.

    Healed by a Horse® Sessions
    Before your visit, we will schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss what you would like to explore and how best to prepare for your time with the horses.

  • Energy healing sessions and services are offered for the purpose of stress reduction, relaxation, and personal well-being only.

    The services provided by Anna Marie Ellison, including those offered through the Heart Frequency Healing™ and Healed by a Horse® program, are not a substitute for medical, veterinary, psychological, or mental health diagnosis or treatment. Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed medical, mental health, or veterinary professional for any physical, emotional, or psychological condition.

    Anna Marie Ellison does not diagnose medical or psychological conditions, perform medical or veterinary treatments, prescribe medications or substances, or interfere with the care provided by licensed healthcare professionals.

    Energy healing and related services are intended to complement, not replace, professional medical or mental health care.

    Anna Marie Ellison is not a medical doctor or veterinarian. If you or your animal are experiencing acute or chronic physical, emotional, or psychological concerns, it is strongly recommended that you seek care from a qualified, licensed professional.

    By participating in any session, class, or service, you acknowledge and agree that Anna Marie Ellison assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, or damages that may occur as a result of participation.

    These services are offered as supportive, complementary experiences and are meant to be used alongside appropriate professional care.

  • Class Registration & Payment

    • Classes and events are offered to a limited number of participants.

    • Full payment is required at the time of registration and must be received prior to attending the first class or event.

    • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Your registration secures your spot and helps ensure the integrity and safety of the group experience.


    Class Information & Participation

    • Class details, including dates, times, format (online or in-person), and any required preparation, will be provided prior to the start of the class or event.

    • Participants are responsible for reviewing all class communications and arriving prepared and on time.

    • Participation in classes and events requires respectful behavior toward facilitators, fellow participants, and (when applicable) animals.

    If a participant is removed from a class or event for any reason — including but not limited to misconduct, inappropriate language or hate speech, safety concerns, or failure to follow instructions or group guidelines — they will not be permitted to return, and no refund will be issued.

    Cancellations & Changes

    • Once registered, your payment secures your place and cannot be refunded or transferred to another person.

    • Missed classes or events cannot be made up unless explicitly stated in the class description.

    Rescheduling by Organizer

    We reserve the right to reschedule a class or event due to:

    • Emergency situations

    • Inclement weather

    • Insufficient enrollment

    If a class or event is rescheduled by us, your payment will be applied to the new date.

    Weather Policy

    • Classes and events may be rescheduled due to inclement weather when safety is a concern.

    • If an event is rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new date, your payment may be applied toward another class or event within 6 months of the original event date.

    • Refunds are not provided due to weather-related changes.

    Thank you for your understanding and for honoring these policies, which help create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for everyone involved.

  • I understand that unexpected events can arise in anyone’s life. When you schedule a session, that time is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be offered to another client on short notice. For this reason, the following policies are in place and are agreed to at the time of booking.

    Cancellations & Rescheduling

    If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact Anna Marie at anna@annamarieellison.com at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled online or in-person session.

    • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with 48+ hours’ notice may have payments applied to a future session.

    • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of payment.

    No-Shows

    A no-show is defined as missing a scheduled appointment without notice.

    • No-show appointments are charged in full

    • Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable

    • Missed sessions will not be rescheduled

    Late Arrivals

    If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to honor the next scheduled appointment.

    • Full payment is still required regardless of time remaining

    • No refunds are issued for late arrivals

    • If you wish to reschedule, a rescheduling fee may apply

    Refunds

    All payments and deposits are non-refundable.

    If you need to reschedule an online session with 48+ hours’ notice, your payment may be transferred to a future appointment. If a session is not canceled or rescheduled in accordance with this policy, payment is forfeited.

    Healed by a Horse® Sessions, Retreats & Experiences

    Due to the extensive preparation involved for both the horses and facilitators, the following policies apply to all Healed by a Horse® offerings, including private sessions, VIP days, retreats, and group experiences.

    • All deposits and payments are non-refundable

    • Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice

    • Funds (minus the deposit) may be applied to a future date within 90 days of the original session

    • Private sessions rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice may incur a 50% rescheduling fee

    Once a date is reserved, it cannot be filled by another client if canceled at the last minute. Thank you for honoring the time, energy, and care that go into preparing these sessions.

    Weather Policy

    The safety of clients, participants, and horses is of the utmost importance.

    • Sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather at the sole discretion of Anna Marie

    • Weather-related reschedules will have payments applied to a new date within 3 months of the original session

    • All rescheduled sessions must take place within the same calendar year

    • Refunds are not provided due to weather

    • If a session is not rescheduled within the stated timeframe, payments and deposits are forfeited
